Abstract
Healthcare cost of chronic disease management can be reduced using several advanced technologies. Wearable technology and mobile applications (apps) are widely available for health monitoring. These technologies are used by doctors, patients, and researchers for checking the health status. These devices can help in the development of telemedicine and telehealth via the use of Internet-of-Things, blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI has important applications in healthcare management. Diseases such as cardiac disorders, lung and heart problems, stroke and neurological disorders can be easily identified using AI systems. The AI system collects information and transfers them to analyst and help in reducing healthcare risks. Self-control and self-monitoring devices are useful for the elder people and those who cannot meet doctors frequently. It develops a secure, private, and trustable relationship between patients and healthcare providers. Blockchain technology helps in analysis of big data in healthcare, protect it, and maintain data transparency. Rapid progress of analytics techniques can control healthcare data and improve overall lifestyle.
