Abstract
This letter to the editor refers to ‘What if your patient switches from Dr. Google to Dr. ChatGPT? A vignette-based survey of the trustworthiness, value, and danger of ChatGPT-generated responses to health questions' by L. Van Bulck and P. Moons, https://doi.org/10.1093/eurjcn/zvad038 Dear Editor, I appreciate the opportunity to provide additional critical analysis of the recently published article titled ‘What if your patient switches from Dr. Google to Dr. ChatGPT? A vignette-based survey of the trustworthiness, value, and danger of ChatGPT-generated responses to health questions.1’ While the article offers valuable insights into the role of ChatGPT in cardiovascular nursing, there are some points that require further scrutiny. One key concern is the potential for confirmation bias in the study design. The experts were chosen from the authors’ professional network, which might have influenced their judgments on ChatGPT’s responses. A more diverse and impartial selection of experts could strengthen the validity of the findings.
