Abstract

Digitalization impacts the lives of billions of people in the world and increases the opportunity for every individual to explore and experience different perspectives of life. Digitalization is possible because of continuous innovation and inventions in information technology (IT) sector. IT is growing in an unprecedented pace, and these innovations are not only limited to IT but impact each sector like retail, healthcare, life science, and manufacturing. To be more concise, you name any sector, and you feel that somewhere they are using IT innovations to increase their productivity, efficiency, user experience (UX), fast delivery, easy collaboration, marketing, sales, and in these places where these innovations can give fruitful results. UX is the field which is always in demand because it attracts the consumer toward the product. Since nothing is constant and technology ever evolving, the latest innovation changes the way people think about the UX. These innovations are popularly known as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality. The VR can also be called as computer-generated reality. VR, AR and head-mounted displays are altering the way we see and cooperate with the world, influencing virtually every industry. These innovations are permitting three-dimensional (3D) vivid show and comprehension of life systems at no other time is conceivable. Clinical applications are widely coming to and influence each feature of clinical consideration from learning gross life systems and careful method to understand explicit pre-procedural arranging and intra-employable direction, just as symptomatic and restorative methodologies in recovery, torment the executives, and brain science. The FDA is starting to affirm these methodologies for clinical use. VR changes the way we can experience the image in 3D and AI is known for the decision making, have the capability to mimic the human decision in the absence of humans; so, on the basis of images generated by VR, AI can diagnose the disease in a much faster way and help our medical professionals with the appropriate recommendations. In this chapter, we sum up the utilization of AI with VR for healthcare. A set of experiences, current utility and future utilizations of these advancements are portrayed.
