Abstract
Advanced technology has increased the use of telemedicine and information technology (IT) in the treatment or rehabilitation of diseases. Artificial intelligence in healthcare is used to analyze the treatment techniques of various diseases and their prevention. Artificial intelligence is used in various areas of healthcare such as diagnostic processes, drug research sector, medicine, care center for patient monitoring, etc. In healthcare, AI helps collect past data through electronic health records for disease prevention and diagnosis. The increased use of technology increases the importance of related ethical issues. The need to preserve the confidentiality and security of patient information, control the inefficiency of several therapists, and improve the quality of health services requires adequate attention to ethical issues in the provision of telemedicine. This chapter is important for clinical practice and for the world, because knowledge of ethical issues in telemedicine and technology are always important factors for doctors and healthcare providers.
