Abstract
This study investigates the technical competency of ChatGPT-4o in utilizing the SD Biosensor STANDARD G6PD test, a vital tool for identifying glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, which can precipitate hemolytic anemia under certain stress conditions. Unlike previous evaluations, this research uniquely assesses the model's performance without prior demonstrations, practice with observation, or independent practice. Instead, ChatGPT-4o's capabilities are gauged solely based on a provided training and competency assessment document. The findings highlight the model's proficiency in accurately responding to the assessment, suggesting its broader applicability in mastering various sensor and microelectronic technologies.
