Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a critical catalyst in the rapidly changing fields of biotechnology and healthcare, ushering in a new era of precision and creativity. Innovative methods are changing conventional wisdom at the nexus of biotechnology and artificial intelligence. This allows scientists to read complex genetic codes and spot minute patterns that were missed by more traditional methods. This computer power has sped up the process of finding new drugs by identifying possible therapeutic targets and accelerating the creation of individualized therapies based on unique genetic profiles. Furthermore, AI’s capacity to sort through massive patient datasets expedites the discovery of biomarkers, supporting the early diagnosis of ailments ranging from genetic predispositions to neurological problems. Using real-time data, predictive modelling algorithms can predict disease outbreaks and allocate resources accordingly. The combination of biotechnology insights and computational power will enable ground breaking discoveries, shaping the future where eco-conscious solutions and personalized healthcare will redefine the feasible limits. This chapter mainly emphasizes an overview of AI in industrial biotechnology, healthcare, stem cell and regenerative medicine, biomedical research, and bioinformatics.
