Abstract

This research made use of an AI detector known as GPTZero to determine the proportion of each assignment that was written by humans and by AI. Based on the findings, it can be observed that the assignment receives higher marks when the percentage of the AI writing score is larger. One of the limitations of the research is that the use of ChatGPT for proofreading will also be identified as AI. There is a possibility that fairness will be a problem in the field of applying AI in education. The establishment of control mechanisms is necessary prior to the complete implementation of AI in educational settings to prevent AI from destroying human talents. The research aims to examine the frequency of student utilization of AI in writing tasks and to investigate students' attitudes towards AI tools in Mandarin writing. The research questions are: I) How to identify the ethnicity of an individual utilising AI ii) What measures should responsible AI use in the event of damage resulting from following AI recommendations and responses?
