The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing clinical medicine, necessitating a parallel transformation in medical education. Despite AI’s growing influence on diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient management, many clinicians lack formal training to effectively and ethically use AI tools. This article proposes a conceptual framework for integrating AI into clinical training, drawing on the pioneering approaches of Harvard Medical School’s AI in Clinical Medicine course. Key principles include interdisciplinary collaboration, practical application, and embedding ethics to address bias and patient autonomy. The framework encompasses foundational AI concepts, specialty-specific applications, hands-on learning, and continuous professional development.
