Abstract
This paper presents a qualitative analysis of a modern technology – Artificial Intelligence (AI) – which will revolutionize the whole economic and social life, and its impact is considered to be similar with the use of internet. Indeed, AI promises to transform the way we live, work, and interact with technology in general. Several advantages, threats and risks of AI are shown and briefly analyzed, as well as the state-of-the-art in this highly emerging field. Also, the future of AI and its impact on our lives, including on education, are briefly presented.
