Abstract

Industry 4.0 innovations—which include the use of digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), customer response data, and cutting-edge technologies—are causing a revolution in the medical services sector. By using proactive therapy, especially for early disease identification and control, this change seeks to improve patient comfort. Healthcare delivery is being revolutionized by technologies like VR- Virtual Reality, AI, IoT-Internet of Things and Big Data. The current epidemic has brought even more attention to the problems facing the mental health systems of today, including a lack of psychiatrists, lengthy wait periods, and stigma. These issues underline the necessity for digital change. AI's ability to improve mental health has been proved by the growth of online treatment, which has also made distant therapy more practical. Information and communication technology (ICT) applications for mental therapy and different medical diagnoses. The basis of Industry 4.0, which includes IoT, cloud computing, big data, remote internet, 5G, augmented/virtual reality, and AI, offers an intelligent, patient-centered healthcare system that is more sustainable and efficient overall. The chapter examines how new technologies, by providing creative answers to contemporary problems, can transform mental health care.
