Abstract

The integration of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI) in higher education offers a unique potential to create personalized, ethical, and efficient educational environments. This paper provides a systematic literature review, analyzing current applications of HCAI in higher education, with a focus on transparency, fairness, and student engagement. Case studies from leading institutions highlight the benefits of HCAIdriven tools, such as adaptive learning platforms and AI-powered feedback systems, and their impact on teaching effectiveness, student retention, and ethical AI practices.
