Abstract
AI assistants are extremely useful and important in the healthcare domain. However, AI assistants often require an internet connection to function, which limits their use-cases. We review existing literature on tinyML for diagnosis, examine and compare various multimodal models on the market, and propose a healthcare AI-support system that can be used to diagnose skin lesions in remote areas. We conclude by outlining future research.
