Abstract
The healthcare landscape is undergoing rapid transformation driven by digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), telehealth platforms, and nanotechnology. These innovations improve efficiency, accuracy, and access to care but also create significant challenges for the workforce. This article argues that healthcare organizations must adopt workforce management strategies that go beyond technology adoption to focus on human experience, development, and well-being. It examines how administrators balance technological progress with investment in human capital. The paper employs a narrative review approach to synthesize research and practical insights on role expansion, digital upskilling, multicultural workforce integration, and support for staff well-being and system resilience. It concludes that future-ready healthcare systems will be defined as much by an adaptable, engaged, and ethical workforce as by advanced technologies, and that the success of digital transformation depends on effective management of people.
