Abstract

Artificial intelligence is fastly growing and transforming human resource management practices in hospitals. AI enabled tools are increasingly used for recruitment, workforce planning, performance appraisal, scheduling, learning and decision support .This conceptual study examines how AI applications in hospital HR can influence workplace diversity across demographic, professional, and cognitive dimensions and how this in turn affects inclusion climate, team functioning, and quality of care. With respect to diversity management and ethical AI perspectives this paper develops a framework that links AI enabled HR practices, diversity related processes such as fair hiring, unbiased promotion etc. This paper mainly aims to put some important points over the impact of AI in HRM and it particularly focus on workplace diversity in hospital sector.
