Abstract
AI and robotics are gradually transforming surgical practice, bringing streaks of accuracy, safety and efficiency. Machine learning and computer vision tools allow surgical robots to assist surgeons in the OR with fewer complications and a faster recovery. AI can quickly analyze large quantities of surgical data in real-time and assist with standardization protocols and surgical-decision support. Surgical robots with AI will analyze data to provide real-time information, enhanced awareness of the surgical field, and reduced human errors in surgery in the future, providing less invasive surgeries and higher rates of patient satisfaction.
