Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has developed as a transformative strength in contemporary society, mainly within the educational part. The increasing integration of AI technologies into learning environments has shaped chances for personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, and robotic educational tools that improve student engagement and knowledge acquisition. However, the wide-ranging adoption of AI technologies also raises remarkable ethical apprehensions related to data privacy, algorithmic partiality, transparency, academic integrity, and responsible technology use. Secondary school students denote a generation that is growing up in a vastly digitalized setting where artificial intelligence tools are progressively accessible and integrated into average learning events. Despite their regular interaction with AI technologies, students often absence sufficient awareness of the principled implications related with these systems. This theoretical study explores the perception of artificial intelligence ethics awareness and the responsible use of AI technologies among secondary school students in the digital era. The paper studies key ethical principles guiding AI development and use, deliberates the role of digital citizenship and ethical literateness in technology education, and highpoints the responsibilities of educators and policymakers in fostering in charge AI engagement among students. The study articulates that integrating AI ethics education into school curricula is vital for preparing students to direct the complexities of AI-driven societies. Evolving ethical awareness among students will permit them to critically evaluate technological systems, respect digital rights, and subsidize responsibly to the forthcoming development of artificial intelligence technologies.
