Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across multiple disciplines, including literature. Traditionally, literary creation has been considered a deeply human activity rooted in imagination, emotion, cultural experience, and language. However, recent advances in AI—particularly in natural language processing, machine learning, and generative models—have significantly altered how literary texts are conceived, produced, edited, and distributed. This research paper explores the role of AI in literary creation, examining its contributions to idea generation, writing assistance, editing, translation, and new narrative forms. It also critically analyses the advantages and limitations of AI in literature, addressing ethical concerns related to authorship, originality, creativity, and cultural authenticity. The study argues that AI should be understood not as a replacement for human writers but as a collaborative tool that reshapes literary practices while preserving the centrality of human creativity.
