Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming educational systems by enhancing personalised learning, teaching efficiency, and institutional management. However, its integration raises significant ethical concerns related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, academic integrity, and human agency. This chapter examines the ethical foundations of AI in education, explores its pedagogical benefits, and analyses associated risks. It further highlights governance mechanisms and human-centred strategies necessary for responsible and equitable AI implementation in educational institutions.
