Adoption and Usage of ChatGPT Among Women Educators in Higher Education- A Study Based on UTAUT 2 Model

Abstract
In this research, we explore how women educators in educational institutions adopt and utilize ChatGPT, evaluated through the perspective of the UTAUT2 framework. This paper aims to offer information about the enablers and obstacles to the acceptance of ChatGPT by examining factors including Facilitating Condition (FC), Social Influence (SI), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Performance Expectancy (PE), Self-Efficacy (SE), Habit(H) and Effort Expectancy (EE). Information was obtained through a survey circulated among women educators across various institutions. The determinants of this research will add to the studies conducted on educational technology adoption and provide recommendations for integrating AI tools in academic settings, especially among the underrepresented groups in technology adoption research.
