Abstract
This study explores the application of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the teaching of financial accounting courses in higher vocational colleges and the resulting innovations in teaching models. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, its application potential in education is becoming increasingly prominent. Through literature research, field research, and teaching practice, this paper analyzes the feasibility and necessity of integrating generative AI with financial accounting courses. The study finds that generative AI can provide strong support for financial accounting teaching in terms of course content generation, personalized learning, real-time feedback, and assessment. Based on this, this paper proposes a new teaching model for financial accounting courses in higher vocational colleges that integrates generative AI. The model includes innovative elements such as AI-assisted course design, an intelligent interactive learning platform, virtual simulation training, and an intelligent assessment system. Practice has demonstrated that this model effectively improves teaching efficiency, enhances students’ learning interest and practical skills, and cultivates their professional qualities for adapting to the intelligent financial environment. This study provides new ideas and references for promoting intelligent teaching reforms and improving the quality of talent cultivation in financial accounting majors in higher vocational colleges.
