Abstract
The integration of computer vision (CV) technologies into autonomous systems has revolutionized various industries, including healthcare. Autonomous healthcare systems using CV techniques enable real-time monitoring, diagnosis, and patient care, especially for elderly patients, those with chronic diseases, and individuals with mobility challenges. This paper explores the applications, benefits, and challenges of employing computer vision in healthcare systems, particularly focusing on patient monitoring and disease prevention. The study emphasizes the need for intelligent systems that combine CV with artificial intelligence (AI) to create autonomous monitoring solutions for personalized healthcare management. The paper also addresses the ethical considerations, data privacy, and system reliability in autonomous healthcare systems. Through a detailed review of current advancements and case studies, the paper outlines the future potential of CV-driven autonomous healthcare systems in improving patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
